Dear Colin, Annette, Glenda, Daryl and families,
You are in our thoughts as you celebrate the life of your Dad and our lovely Uncle Doug.
What an amazing life he led with his steadfast faith, incredible work ethic and strong family values. The most amazing story teller and mischief maker and always doing kind things for others.
The last time I spoke to Uncle Doug he was potting up plants before heading off to join Uncle Nev to run a stall, raising money for charity. No rest for the wicked applies here, as he had a wicked sense of humour and never rested a day in his life I'm quite sure
His tireless work in compiling our family history is also an amazing legacy and his book will be forever treasured .
Sending love to you all
