Dear David. You've left behind so many people who love you. I will wrap my arms around our beautiful Grandkids and make sure they remember what a great Poppy you were. Rest in Peace. Carol and Les xxx
Condolences to your family and close friends David you changed the landscape and the tapestry of life woven through the talents, skills and passion of what living is all about! You will be missed
I will remember Dave fondly. He was always so kind and supportive of my music and of the live entertainment scene as a whole. I will miss seeing his face at gigs. His Rabbit Poem will be forever imprinted on my heart. Be kind to rabbits folks. To lovely Sheila, I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely beautiful man Dave. He seemed intent on grooving right up until he flew to the other side. To you and your family. I send you my deepest sympathy. Dave was a great human being.
You maybe out of sight David but you will never be forgotten.
Wishing that on your new journey you are back with the Penn & Sims family members that have left us also.
We treasure many memories before you and some of the family moved out to Australia to start a new chapter of your life's.
You will always be in our thoughts.

That still brings a smile to my face.May the Gods & Goddess bless you. Angels guide you. Keep visiting us and giving us signs. Love ya forever. Your Daughter. Jules Xx
Fondest memories and appreciation of knowing you David as a friend and family member. Condolences and love to all who will miss his presence especially Sheila, Brad and his grandchildren
David you were one of the most beautiful men I have ever known. Fierce, creative, loving, kind and wickedly humorous. May your spirit fly free and soar till we merry meet again.
You taught me what a loving father and husband was, giving me hope for my own adult life through the sharing of your family, time and guidance, creativity and love in my young life.
I will always be grateful that you were a vibrant strand of my tapestry and the threads we shared. You will always hold a place in my heart.
Darling She, Bradley, Jules and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending you so much love.
My heartfelt condolences, hugs and love to Sheila and the family. We haven't seen each other for years but I fondly remember the cricket matches David and Sheila hosted at their beautiful property every Boxing Day. David was one of those people I thought would live forever. His premature departure from the planet will be deeply felt by all who knew him. David will live on in our memories. X
Deepest sympathy to all the Sims. Hopefully today is filled with great stories about and tributes to David, his voice is heard one final time and there is lots of other great music. I will miss that softly spoken voice fronting up a super nice gentleman.
A day to remember special Dave in so many ways. The smell of patchouli will continue to remind me of him!!
Love from Jen, Leigh, Mardae,Kalinda and girls.

What a wonderful celebration and au revoir. Lovely to see so many familiar faces, and to feel the love of so many for such a beautiful man. You were unforgettable, David, so loving, so generous, such good fun. Zoe and I were privileged to know you, and to enjoy the warm embrace of your family. We wish Sheila and Brad and the extended family all the very best as life moves on, so enriched for all of us by your having been a part of it. God speed, lovely man.
