I am Mick's cousin who still lives in the UK.
My memories of dear Mick were when we used to meet up for our birthdays, Guy Fawkes night when we had fireworks and a big bonfire in the garden of 57 Wiloughby Crescent. Also celebrating Christmas on Boxing Day there.
I remember the day the family left for London before their long journey to Australia.
I have visited Australia 10 times and always made sure I saw all my cousins.
I had wonderful times with Mick and family in Albany, on little boat trips, visiting Denmark, and going to a secluded beach. We went on walks along the seafront and through Albany - Dog Rock, and the cafe they ran.
I shall never forget my dear cousin Mick. We used to chat often on the phone and have a good laugh remembering our youth and all the family members who are and were no longer with us.
Thank you Mick for being a wonderful cousin to me. I love you and will never forget you. I'll miss our long phone chats.
