She had a way of making you feel special as we spoke about the past and family. Heidi had so much time for Maria and Gino which I will treasure always. As young Western girls, she was always Mrs Page — but that was only the beginning. Over the years, Heidi became very much entwined in all of our lives.
Mrs Page was a Lockyer mum, the mum of our school colleagues.
She was the best friend and neighbour of our bestest Aunty Elaine.
And she was the wife of Dad’s work colleague, Mr Page, who shared more than 40 years of working life with Dad.
But as the years passed, Mrs Page became simply Heidi to the now-grown-up Western girls. She became our much-loved, honorary Aunty — no blood relation, but certainly family in every way that mattered.
She was a constant and dear friend to our Mum, Jeanette, and a much-loved member of the Tuesday lunch group.
Heidi always gave us love and kindness. She had those quiet little chats with us when we needed them, took a genuine interest in our lives and our children’s lives, celebrated our triumphs and, in the sad times, gave us such heartfelt compassion.
She was always there, quietly woven into the fabric of our family — and somehow, those are often the people who leave the biggest spaces when they are gone.
We will miss you deeply, Heidi.

To the dear Page family please except my sincere condolences to you all at this extremely saddest of times..Heidi was so loved so kind always positive and had a great sense of humour everyone adored her .She was one of my Mum best friend 🧡 So many memories of this wonderful woman I will always treasure .Where ever she seen you she would always give you a kiss and a hug and you always felt safe ..The last one of the Tuesday girls ..So sorry I wont be able to attend Heidi funeral i be up in Perth for Trevs new hip but I will watch the funeral..RIP Heidi (((💗)))
