  2. ALL My Love to Ali and family on the sad passing on Glenn
My thoughts are with you all at this time
    Lots of Love Debbie

  3. Oh Glenn,
Our ‘larger than life’ big cousin.
An infectious laugh that came from his heart, then out of his eyes and belly.
He lived and loved in the simple and purest of happiness. He even gloated that ‘ I’ve done it all, been in love, been arrested…”
It isn’t fair though. A man like Glenn Sampson deserved to see many more of the joys his life and love created.
    Be at peace cuz.
    Love and light xxx 💕
Thoughts are with those you left behind.
We will always remember you. 🖤

  4. My dearest Alison and family,
Thinking of you all at this sad time!
Glenn was taken far too young and far too soon and my heart aches for you all.
We have gained another star twinkling in the sky, and I know he is looking down on you all and encouraging you to continue to live each day with zest and love. His loss reminds us to take nothing for granted and to leave no words unspoken.
    Sending all my love.
    Debbie Maddams

  7. Oh Glenn, how sad it was to hear that you had past, way too soon for a jovial man like yourself, my mind goes back to when we were teenagers, spending Friday night and Saturday nights at the Skating rink, those days were simply gold my dear friend.. I can still remember you jumping over people on the skating rink.
You're personality was huge and your smile and laughter was infectious...
You're so going be missed my friend.
My love goes to Ali and your family.
    Lots of love Glenn
    From Jackie and Chris

  8. Glenn, you were a childhood hero. Loving, strong, funny and wise and always a cheeky twinkle in your eye. Wishing I got to spend more time with you.
Lots of love to Alison and family.

  9. Well old mate your number came up far to early. There is so many that deserve to loose their place in the que than you. I'm sorry we didn't get to finish that bottle my friend but the memories of us starting it will remain with me. Ali I'm deeply sorry that you have to say goodbye to your soulmate I can honestly say your match with Glenn was always meant to be my heart and thoughts will be with you as you celebrate Glenn's life.

  10. Glenn, so glad we all got to catch up earlier this year. You will be sorely missed. Rest in peace knowing your many friends and family will keep an eye on Ali for you. Forever in our hearts.

  11. Dearest Ally and family. Sending you all my family's love today and always. Beautiful Glenn has gone to be with the Lord so early. I'm positive God calls the super special souls up early. What a great success your marriage is together Ally. You are both a shining example to everyone that love does exist in its finest form. The bible tells us there's no tears in heaven. There's no sickness. And best of all no more death . I feel honoured to have known Glenn. And I will always be here for you, Dearest Alison as you begin a different journey without your beloved Glenn. Cancer is so cruel, it seems to affect the finest of people. But nothing including cancer can seperate us from God's love . So now Jesus can hold Glenn in his new body and everything is going to be ok. Love Always Imelda Redshaw. 💝💝💝 God bless you Glenn Sampson. God bless and protect your family and bring them all peace so they just remember the happiesy of times . I will always remember the classroom antics of me being yours and Glenn's teacher and I would have to put you both in the naughty corner . You always sat at the back of the bus together and some of the commentary coming from you both would make me cry with laughter. Glenn just gone on the restoration bus now and he will swing by to pick you all up when it's your time to all join him. It's all going to be on. Love you.

  12. My dearest friend Alison and of course to the family, there’s no words to express just how much we know Glenn will be missed.
What a wonderful man, husband and father, we consider ourselves so fortunate and honoured to have known Glenn all these years, what a man he was, made us all laugh and see the funny side of life but also gave us food for thought at times.
Glenn we will always have a place in our hearts for you and you will be forever missed.
    Love Pauline and Steven

  13. Well done and thanks to everyone, that was such a beautiful and heartfelt farewell to an absolute legend Glenn.
Sorry I couldn't be there in person but I was definitely there in spirit. Love to you all ❤️

  14. Dear Alison, It feels unbelievable, sitting here waiting for the funeral service for Glenn. In front of me is a beautiful photo - Glenn looking happy, content and with a great big warm and genuine heart & soul.
Then, the service begins - very suitable AC/DC, followed by a song with the warmest of lyrics - now & forever is my love for you. (I suggest you listen to this song/lyrics often). I'm feeling this is heart wrenching and isn't fair! Then, there's words of your eulogy and words from family and close friends - all a bit teary now! Many hearts are broken. What an adored and respected human being. A huge character, he was a devil and thrill seeker and a great life he enjoyed. Glenn was grateful for what came into his life - above all, for 40 years of true love. Typical Glenn, on his wedding day, he said he'd take you as his "awful wedded wife"! Ha, ha! The words spoken absolutely conveyed Glenn as a very special and lovable person with the greatest big heart. Honestly, from all his teachings and guidance you've gained over the years, you'll feel very accomplished to look after yourself - albeit, day at a time!
Then, a fabulous selection of photos. All beautiful and meaningful. I especially loved the ones of you and Glenn during courtship days (sheer classics), the one of him kissing you on your cheek and the one of you both looking at each other with Glenn wearing a T-shirt with words Trust Me. I also loved the photo of your hands together - and I wondered what meaning is the tattoo of 2 spoons and the letters 10 23?
It was comforting to see your children by your side and to see Donna by your side also.
Finally, the last perfect song to end the service - "you'll always have my love. I've got your name written here in a rose tattoo and I'll wear it to my grave" (another song/lyrics to listen to often).
Then, finally inviting guests to join together to celebrate and have drinks "to the greatest man".
It was a very fitting service for Glenn. Cheers.
Remember, his love and strength will always be with you - and this will help you continue to feel safe & protected.
How about taking up Glenn's guitar and bash out some music for both of you!!!
    My sincere sympathy.

  15. Dear Allison and family. Today was truly a heartfelt and very special service for Glenn's life. You all wrote and told the most wonderful words and told some of the funniest memories, as did his wonderful relatives and friends. It was so special to be there and
share the day with you. May you all take strength in knowing you had such an amazing person to share your lives with. Thinking of you all, love and hugs 🫂 Rest in Peace Glenn
    From Lea xo

  17. Dear Alison & Family, So very sorry that I didn't keep in touch, and now I won't ever be able too , it is a regret I will be forced to live with until the day I die, I knew Glenn as a Band mate/ regular jam session muso in his garage , the band was called Kactus , we would rehearse every Sunday in Albany in Glenns garage, it was easily some of the best days of my life !, Glenn, Phil Aka Lucky Phil, guitarist , singer, ladies man extraordinaire, Chizzy the lead singer that we used to laugh & joke about him winding up dead in a gutter somewhere when he was late too arrive!, because he was the consummate party animal , & Kev the drummer that always entertained us with his sense of humor !, everything he said was comedy gold !!!!, he had me in stitches many many many times ! :), oh do I miss those times so so so very much, never to be repeated now :((((((((, the lesson I have leaned from this is , don't wait !!!, don't hesitate, if you do it might be too late !, grab on to what ever joys life bestows on you, if you don't, and you pass it up , then you could be forever condemned to a life of regret, and sorrow of what could have been ! 🙁
